New record of the genus for Libya, Tripolitania and Cyrenaica.

Old larval galleries and emergence holes were observed on dead trunks of Pinus sp. Cyrenaica: wadi east of Al Athrun. Tripolitania: Az Zintan in Jabal Nefusah.
It could be A. ferus (Mulsant, 1839) and A. syriacus (Reitter, 1895).
