Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Senegal, Ethiopia. Tripolitania: Ghirza, 02/09/2002; south of Mizdah, 11/10/2002; Wadi Suf Ajjin, 15/08/2003. Fazzan: Matkhendush (Messak Sattafet), 23/10/2002; Terhin (Messak Sattafet), 19/10/2001; Wadi I-n-Habeter, 23/10/2003; Esseyen (Ghat), 19/02/2002; Takarkiba, 07/01/2003. P. grandis latastei. Not seen along the coast of Tripolitania, in the Jaffarah Plain and northern Jabal Nafusah. Common in Hamada al Hamra (Tripolitania) and in the oases and wadis of Fazzan.
